The (now sold out!) West Elm event is not the only place where I’m getting my geometric on this summer. My niece Kellyn’s birthday is this weekend and you better bet there’s a big ol’ party in store for her tomorrow! A geometric party through and through! You may remember her party last year (It was rainbow hued!), but this year I’m pretty excited because I’ve teamed up with The Land of Nod to make it extra super awesome! I’ve been crafting my brains out and on today’s to do list? Geometrize (like that word!?) some honeycombs and make a fancy cake. It’s quite an experiment so cross your fingers for me. Below is the quickie little board I whipped up as inspiration and a few pictures of all the prep going on around here. I’ll share the full details of the party and the DIYs in the coming weeks. For now, I’m off to craft and bake away!
Garlands / Wall Organizer / Honeycombs / Beads / Containers / Floor Cushions / Poufs / Braided Pouf
I picked up some of Target’s Kid Made Modern crayon (and hopefully chalk!) gems because they were just too perfect. We’ll also be having a little geometric necklace crafting area so I ordered some plain white wood beads and spray painted them myself…
Tada!
