Three Crazy Caramel Apples To Try

Prep Time1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time1 hour 30 minutes
Servings: 3 Apples

Ingredients

  • 3 apples we used Granny Smith
  • 3 sticks for dipping

  • For the Funfetti Apple:

  • White chocolate candy melts
  • Golden Birthday Cake Oreos
  • Assorted rainbow sprinkles

  • For the Cookie Butter Apple:

  • Cookie Butter
  • White chocolate candy melts
  • Crumbled Biscoff cookies

  • For the Leftover Halloween Candy Apple:

  • Soft caramels
  • Halloween candy

Instructions

  • Rinse and dry each apple, then carefully insert a stick into the center of each.
  • For the Cookie Butter Apple, melt equal parts cookie butter with white chocolate candy melts. (The white chocolate will allow the cookie butter coating to harden, rather than run off.) Dip an apple into the melted cookie butter mixture, drip off any excess coating, and roll the apple into Biscoff cookie crumbs. (For an optional decoration, drizzle the top of the apple with extra melted cookie butter.)
  • For the Funfetti Apple, melt the white chocolate candy melts until smooth. Dip and twirl an apple into the melted chocolate until completely coated. (Be sure to let the excess chocolate drip off!) Then, roll the coated apple into crushed Birthday Cake Oreos and decorate with assorted sprinkles!
  • For the Leftover Halloween Candy Apple, melt soft caramels until runny and dip an apple into the caramel, allowing excess to run off. Roll the bottom of the apple into Rainbow Nerds (or whichever candy you desire,) and by hand, decorate the rest of the apple with pieces of your favorite leftover Halloween candy! Get creative!!!
  • Once you’ve finished dipping and decorating, chill the apples for at least one hour, until the coating has hardened. Enjoy!
