Jeff and I got married on November 15, 2014 in Palm Springs. It was the most perfect day, filled with a lot of fun, family, friends, dancing and humor! - As we were sharing our first kiss, a mariachi band snuck behind the back of the ceremony chairs and started playing as a surprise to guests! They then lead guests into the cocktail hour, a la a second line parade, which I had always dreamed of!

- We served Armenian-inspired appetizers to honor Jeff’s Armenian heritage at the cocktail hour!

- Our guest book was a larger print of the floral design from our invitation. Guests signed it and we hope to hang it somewhere, some day!

- Our escort cards were a flock of flamingos! Each had a calligraphed tag around their neck that told guests were they were seated.

- Lauren (A Fabulous Fete) hand calligraphed this 10 foot menu! SO amazing.

- I love the look of long tables and knew that’s what I wanted for our wedding. Our team made them BEYOND stunning!

- We worked with Hostess Haven to bring in pink and gold rimmed glassware and vintage gold flatware for the day.

- The flowers just blew me away.

- Bash, Please dyed inexpensive napkins pink to add a little pop of color on the white linens.

- We made custom crazy straws for all the kids at the wedding and left them at their place settings.

- After our photos, we got to peek in the backyard before everyone else did to see the tablescapes. We. Were. FLOORED!

- Outfit change! I changed into a jumpsuit for the reception knowing that I wouldn’t have any fun trying to dance in my big dress.

- Jeff and I have a tradition of getting a slice of cake at Jake’s in Palm Springs whenever we’re there and eating it back at the hotel. We knew we wanted that cake at our wedding. The cakes at Jake’s are actually by Over The Rainbow desserts, and we decided to have a whole bar of them! We worked with Minted and Vintage to bring in all different cake stands to display them on.

- People could NOT GET ENOUGH of the cake! Clearly we aren’t the only ones who think it’s the best.

- I was so mad when we had to cut the cake because it meant I had to leave the dance floor! Haha!
