I told you guys I was going Christmas light CRAZY! This time, I didn’t just wrap a tree in ’em, I wrapped myself in ’em! These Christmas light leggings are the BEST idea for those of you who have a new Christmas PJ tradition… ’cause they are PJs you can wear all day! Or at least, I intend to do so on December 25th…. Get the full tutorial (using the Cricut Explore!) below!
White or Light Colored Leggings
Cricut Explore™
Various Colored Cricut Iron-on Material (I used red, pink, green, yellow and black)
Black Fabric Marker
Iron
Tea Towel or Scrap Fabric
1. Open up this project in Cricut Design Space. Follow the instructions for cutting your bulbs and bulb toppers out of the iron-on material.
2. Remove excess iron-on material from the liner, leaving just your bulb shapes still on the liner. Place the bulbs along the front of the leggings as desired. Follow package instructions and iron the bulbs onto your leggings. I did a few at a time. Repeat this on the back of the leggings.
3. Place the black tops (liner still on) on top of each bulb and iron again according to package directions.
4. Use your black fabric marker to draw the strand in between each bulb working your way up and around each leg. Let dry.

So who’s gonna be donning their Christmas light leggings this Christmas Eve!? I sure hope it’s ALL OF YOU!
(Shout out to Morgan for both spotting and photographing me while I balanced a tree on my feet. Keep an eye on Instagram for the behind the scenes! And pssst… if you have a Cricut, you can also use the templates from this project to help speed along yesterday’s balloon DIY!)

These leggings are so cool! I like how easy they are to make, and I might try to make a couple of pairs to give out as gifts. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t suppose the template is available without using cricut? I really want to make these for my cousin for Christmans.
