DIY Smart Cookie Graduation Party Favors

I know society tells you that graduates want money. But they really want cookies. OK! Maybe they want both. Give those smart cookies what they want, people! My latest project with Cricut can help with that. Print, cut and package up some sweets just in time for your graduation party!

1. Open up this project in Cricut Design Space. Click the “Make It Now” button and print out the cookie package designs. If this is your first time using the Print Then Cut feature, you’ll have to calibrate your Cricut. (Super easy, just follow the instructions on the screen!) Otherwise, follow the instructions on the screen for printing.***
2. Place your printed design on the Cricut cutting mat and follow the instructions on the screen to cut it out.
3. Use a ruler and bone folder to score each of the tabs. Then, fold the larger side tabs in, overlapping and securing them with double stick tape.
4. Then fold up the bottom flap and secure with tape. Now, place each cookie in a cellophane bag and slip it into the package. Finally, secure the top flap with tape. Tada!

***A few of you have mentioned that you don’t have a Cricut and would love a way to still be able to make the projects I share in partnership with them. Good news! I have a solution for you thanks to the new Print and Cut feature. If you’d like to make one of these projects and you don’t have a Cricut, follow the above steps through the printing step. Then, hand cut the design and continue with the remaining steps. I will warn you that this will be a bit more laborious as you will be hand cutting everything, but it’s a great solution for those of you who’ve asked!

Good pun! I wouldn’t mind graduation cookies, especially if they were this clever.

All these Cricut projects are really tempting me! If I could splurge on more craft supplies at the moment, I might not be able to say no!!

Hi Kelly! Love the use of cello bags inside a cardstock envelope. Sharing this with our Pinterest crowd. 🙂

I really wanted to make these on my cricut, but when I went to do it they had disappeared! Any way to still access them?
