Welcome to Studio DIY!

It’s here, it’s here! Hooray! Welcome to Studio DIY™, a brand spankin’ new comprehensive resource for any and all DIY and handmade events! What does that mean exactly? Well let me tell you…

Of course, Studio DIY is a blog and I’ll feature some fantastic real handcrafted weddings, birthday parties, holiday parties, bridal showers, baby showers and any other celebrations that life brings about. There will be lots of inspiration for all of the above events as well (think theme ideas and color palettes) and special DIY projects, free printables and recipes so you can utilize your crafty talents to create your own event, and maybe learn a few new skills along the way, too! Each type of event has its very own symbol so you can easily find what your looking for. Check out the “Look for…” tag hanging in the sidebar for a quick peek at what’s what!

But Studio DIY isn’t just a blog either. It is chock full of resources so you can maximize your creative potential. If you click the “Find DIY” button that will take you to three curated guides. The Handmade Vendor Guide holds the key to the best of the best crafters and Etsy sellers who are there to hand make the elements that you’d rather leave to the pros (and believe me, there are always a few elements to leave to the pros!). Then there’s the Craft Supply Guide which houses resources for craft supplies, packaging trinkets and anything else you’ll need but may not be able to find locally for craft projects you see here. Finally there is the Handmade Gift Guide because, sometimes you aren’t hosting the party.. you’re attending one! Whether your gifting to an expectant mother, your daughter’s best friend or an adult party host, you are sure to find a gift that won’t resemble the ones everyone else brings along.

Oh yes.. there’s more. Still with me? We may all love perusing the web for all things pretty but sometimes its good to get out of the house and celebrate your local creative community. This is where the “Local DIY” button comes in, see it up there? Click your region below the map and you’ll local craft fairs, events, flea markets and antique shows to check out!
