Ooooh oh oh, what a batch of homes I have for you today! It includes one of the most incredible homes I’ve ever laid eyes on (yep that one, right up there) and probably what is prettyyyy close to my dream home here in LA, among others!
Here we go!
A Colorful 19th Century Restoration in Merida, Mexico
Asking Price: $975,000
If this looks familiar to you, that’s because I shared it in a weekend links when it was featured on Arch Digest. It is, perhaps, my favorite home I’ve ever laid eyes on and I cannot believe it is for sale. I cannot stop staring at it. I have never seen something so exquisitely restored, designed and decorated.

A Historic Georgian Apartment in Bath, England

No surprise, this one is here for that MOLDING! Located in a building built in 1742 with Georgian features, curved windows and.. did I mention that molding?

A Historic Spanish Colonial in Los Angeles, CA
Asking Price: $3,250,000
I’d say this house is pretty close to my dream house in LA. The detailing of that pass through below, WOW! The living room, the Spanish tile on the stairs! These pictures only share a small glimpse at all the beautiful details of the home, which was built in 1928.

A Colorful Victorian in Reinholds, PA
Asking Price: $829,900
The bathroom in this one is what hooked me! How perfectly quirky and fun. Victorians always bring it with the incredible detail and this house is no exception. The woodwork, the stained glass and window detailing. Plus that curb appeal!! What a dream it would be to decorate a Victorian like this one, which was built in 1912. The listing mentions it’s potential to be a B&B and now I just feel like that needs to happen!

A Recently Renovated Adobe Home in Santa Fe, NM
Asking Price: $2,400,000
So, one (ONE) time, I looked at Santa Fe real estate and ever since Redfin has showed me all the new real estate there in my feed. Don’t know how to stop it so why not embrace it! Recently this newly renovated home (it could be a new build? There is no info on year built) popped up and while I usually go for the really old houses, I thought this one was so well done!
I don’t quite understand the price (I don’t think I realized Santa Fe real estate was so pricey??) but the fireplaces, ceiling detailing, French doors and kitchen details really drew me in!

An Italian Trulli Home in Ostuni, Italy
Asking Price: $103,000
I was unfamiliar with Trulli homes but you must google them if you too were in the dark about these! Straight out of a fairytale. The cone shaped roofline, the exposed stone and arches. Magical!!!

A 1930 Spanish Duplex in Los Angeles, CA
Asking Price: $2,499,000
The bathrooms. Have you ever seen anything like these shapes??? How do you feel about them!?
This duplex feels so vast with the incredible ceilings, double doors and wide hallways. I think it would be quite fun to convert a duplex into a single family home and get really creative, or of course keep it as is and have an income property! Definitely head to the link below to see more photos, lots to be seen in this home!

A 14 Bedroom Chateau in Bayeux, France
Asking Price: $672,327
Couldn’t do one of these posts without a French chateau! I’ll never tire of pouring over the details. The pass through openings below are exquisite and with 14 bedrooms in the Normandy region, it could make quite a great event venue or investment… just saying!

You might enjoy Escape to the Chateau (on Peacock), a show about a quirky British couple who buy a French chateau and fix it up, initially for their wedding, then more broadly as a unique wedding venue for others. Through their different backgrounds (him: engineering, cooking; her: design, events, hospitality), they both strive to maintain the unique and original elements of the chateau and create a memorable experience for guests.

Wow, that was fun….for a hot minute I thought we were in Florida with all the pink and turquoise instead of Mexico and PA…..yikes…not a fan until maybe those bodacious archway curves that outlined all three main functions of a bath in LA….lol! The tiling and look of the Spanish duplex somewhat reminded me of the La Fortuna property featured in that “Till There Was You” movie, but the duplex did not have a courtyard pic. La Fortuna courtyard is so memorable, the movie not so much. I lov lov the openness of the Mexico kitchen….what a dream to be the mistress of it.
