Where To Buy Colorful Bedding (For Kids & Adults!)

Finding well designed, colorful bedding, for kids or adults, can be tough. While we chose neutral bedding for our main bedroom, I did my fair of research on this when I was searching for bedding for my little guy’s room and our guest room.

And as a result, I’ve got a big round up of amazing sources for bold, colorful and patterned bedding. I’ll notate the sizes the bedding comes in below each, because I know finding twin size bedding can be even harder if you’re looking for kids rooms or dorms, for example!

Please note: A lot of these brands are international and may have slightly different sizes. I’ve never had an issue using, for example, Australian sized bedding, on our US sized beds, but it’s always good to measure and compare to ensure you get what works for you! 

Society of Wanderers

We ultimately went with a Society of Wanderers duvet for our son’s room and absolutely love it. The pattern and color combinations they put together are incredible.

Kip & Co

I’m a longtime fan of everything from Kip & Co (and even got to have my own collection with them a few years back which was a dream come true!) and they have beautiful items for both kids and adults, and in both US and Australian sizes. There are many more options available on their AU/International website than on their US website, but items can be shipped to the US from either! FYI!

Another brand that pops up in our home very often is Jungalow. They happen to make beautiful solid and patterned quilts and duvet covers as well that look so cozy!

If you’re looking for bold colors but more simple or graphic details, check out Block Shop. They only have a few options but I love the colors they’ve chosen!

Sage & Clare offers both a selection of solid linen bedding and bold patterned bedding, too. Lots of stripes and florals, which you can never go wrong with!

Hay

I included Hay primarily for their striped duvet covers which are so simple and perfect. The yellow stripe was a close runner up for our son’s room!

Crate & Kids

Even if you aren’t a kid, don’t be afraid to check out the kids section and larger mainstream brands, they often have more pattern and color there and many come in a Queen size! I love some of the simpler patterns offered at Crate & Kids.

Linoto

Need linen bedding in literally ANY color of the rainbow? Linoto is your answer! Their color selection is incredible and I love the styling of these with varying shades and hues of one color.

Castle & Things

We decided to do a little pattern play in our son’s room with multiple sizes of gingham and added in a blanket from Castle & Things. I love their quirky color combinations and the different scales of the patterns they use. Makes for the perfect mix and matching situation!
