YOU GUYS. In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been obsessed with graphic tees lately. When I was in middle school, graphic tees with things like “Princess” and “Angel” were all the rage… and I’m kind of STOKED that these are back in action right now, but with far better sayings. I decided I needed to make some of my own, with some of MY favorite phrases, quotes and lyrics. ‘CAUSE WHY THE HECK NOT!? It is SO EASY, you only need two supplies and an iron. Have a t-shirt making party with all your friends and laugh your faces off as you reminiscence about the best chick flicks and rap lyrics! Bonus points if you can name the sources of most of my references.
T-Shirts (I went to the American Apparel Flea Market in downtown LA for cheap shirts! But here’s some good options: t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks)
Iron-on Letters (I used these black ones and these white ones. For kids/baby sized graphic tees, you can use these smaller ones too!)
Iron
1. Choose your phrase and peel those letters (carefully!) off the sheet. Line them up and space them out as you want them.
2. Iron according to package directions. (That’s really it!!!)
Now it’s time to guess all the phrases! Ok.. I gave you some hints. (Like that is my current favorite song right up there!)

I have a graphic tee which says ‘I wish that I could be like the cool kids’ on it from the song Cool Kids by Echosmith but I am really want a shirt that has a lyric from their song Safest Place so I might have to go and buy some iron on letters and put them on the stack of plain coloured T-shirts I have been hoarding and never wear 🙂
You need to make a pink one with the quote ‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’ from mean girls.
Some Pitch Perfect quotes would be good too espically as the 2nd film is due to be released soon 🙂

I’ve been seeing a lot of cute quote shirts on instagram from a company in LA charging $32 plus shipping. Good to know I can make the same thing at home for much cheaper! One of my favourites is “Thinkin’ ’bout the summer body but also ’bout dem tacos” and I think I need that shirt for when I hit the gym, just to make my trainer have a giggle!
