We used the flavored creamer in both the waffle and the icing and it truly gave these the perfect OREO® flavor.
Chocolate Cookie Waffle Pops
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoonful baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs separated
- 1 cup International Delights Oreo creamer
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ounces milk or semi sweet chocolate roughly chopped
- Nonstick spray
- Large popsicle sticks
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons International Delights Oreo Creamer
- 3 tablespoons International Delights French Vanilla creamer for white icing
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine the egg yolks, International Delights Oreo creamer, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
- Add wet ingredients into dry and mix till combined.
- Using an electric mixer, beat egg whites till medium peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
- Add in the chopped chocolate and gently fold in till combined.
- Heat waffle iron on high. Spray with nonstick spray. Place about 1/4 cup of batter in an oval shape onto each quarter of your waffle machine. Place a large popsicle stick onto the waffle and cover the stick with a little more batter. Close the waffle maker and cook for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a wire cooling rack.
- To make the icing, combine creamer, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and whisk with an electric mixer till smooth.
- Drizzle icing over waffles and top with sprinkles or toppings for your choice.

I can’t wait to make these. I just don’t understand step 5 – add in the chopped chocolate. No mention of chopped chocolate in the ingredients?
