OOOH BABY! I have two fun projects coming at you this week inspired by my most favorite holiday lights… the colorful giant retro ones! I know you know what I’m talkin’ about. For my latest Balloon Time project, I turned the plain ol’ strings of balloons into Christmas light garlands! I think it’s super fun wrapped around the tree with the balloons as a “topper” but it would also make fun decor for just about any Christmas celebration.

Now THAT is a tree! Santa might just be too mesmerized by it to climb back up the chimney this year after he puts gifts under this baby! You can get the full tutorial right here!

Yessss! Agreed. Vintage lights are the best! Have you noticed they’re super hip this year. Thank goodness because I can’t stand the LEDs! P.S. This idea is rad.

What a great idea for those of us who can’t do traditional, real lights too! New dog means plug-in lights are a dangerous combo, haha!
