Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! I couldn’t think of a better way to get back in the swing of things over here than with this cutie patootie party. Annabelle’s new strawberry tutu was all the inspiration her mom Sara, better known as The Homespun Hostess, needed for her next birthday party. A Strawberry Party it was! There are so many adorable red details in this party, perfect inspiration for both those who are having Christmas withdrawals, and those already looking ahead to Valentine’s day! A combination of farm-ready red gingham, pretty polka dots and vintage details made for one sweeter than sweet strawberry infused celebration!
The family’s picnic table was the perfect place to gather, especially when each little girl was met with mason jar cupcakes at her seat!
I am head over heels for the sandwich packaging Sara created with custom labels and a little yarn! Chalkboard signs identified all the edible goodies, including mini strawberry pies, strawberry salads and strawberry sodas of course!
And then we have the desserts. Oh, the desserts! Sara’s sister is quite the baker (Talented family, huh?) and pulled out all the stops for this berry delicious dessert bar. Retro met farm-chic with a ruffly ombre cake, strawberry cake pops and cookies, macarons, cupcakes and more. Plus a few vintage bottles of strawberry milk to wash it all down.
Guess said farewell to this berry dream of a birthday with jars of fresh strawberry jam, complete with a last nod to gingham and a little baker’s twine too.

This is such an adorable party…can I ask you where you got the wooden utensils with the strawberry on them…they are so sweet. Thanks so much

Hi Sara!
The utensils were a DIY project! They were made by printing a strawberry image onto rub-on transfer paper and then they were rubbed on to the utensils.
Hope that helps!

Hi Sara!
The party host from this party (Sara is her name is well!) made them and I don’t know if she would be willing to do that or not! You can find her at her blog, here: http://thehomespunhostess.blogspot.com/
