You didn’t think I’d get through the holiday season without a little fringe did you? These fringe tassel gift toppers are pretty simple and let’s be honest, that wrapping paper (From the Target Dollar Spot!) is pretty darn awesome, isn’t it!? This topper would work any time of the year, just change out tinsel for pom poms or other adornments. But for now, we holiday.
Supply List:
Tissue Paper
Stapler
Scissors
Tinsel Garland
Glue Dots
Presents!!
To Make:
You’ll need to cut six pieces of tissue paper, each 5″ wide and the same length as your present. Staple along one side. On an angle, cut fringe diagonally, starting at the bottom and going until you cet to the top of your stapled side. You’ll end up cutting off a triangular section (You can save this to make confetti with!).
This is what your fringed piece will look like (Look familiar?). Then hold it by the top end and shake to fluff it up!
Attach the stapled side to your package with double stick tape, fluff again! Cut a small piece of tinsel and attach it to the top with a glue dot.
Gift away!
