You guys went crazy for our glitter chocolate bars so now I bring you… glitter shot glasses!!! They’re great for tiny little dessert shots and perfect for your New Year’s Eve parties!!! Make ’em just like candy but toss in a little food-grade glitter and you’re ready. to. go! Keep on reading for the recipe!!
DIY Glitter Shot Glasses
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3.5 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- Food-grade glitter
- Silicone shot glass molds
- Combine water, corn syrup, sugar, and cream of tartar in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil. Cook till temperature reaches between 295 and 310 degrees F (the hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat. Add in desired amount of glitter and stir gently to combine.
- Carefully pour sugar mixture into shot glass molds. Let sit till firm, at least 1 hour.
- Remove from molds.
