DIY Ice Cream April Fools Prank

Oooh I love a good food-themed prank! We’ve done donut tires and shrunken food and now we’ve got an ice cream April Fools prank for you! My dad used to have a fake ice cream spill (over a cassette tape.. THROWBACK!) and I loved it. So I figured there had to be a way to make one myself… and there is! With GLUE!!!!

You gotta get crackin’ on this STAT because it takes a bit to dry but it is SUCH a fun prank to play on your tech-loving/neat freak husband/girlfriend/co-worker/kid! You can place it anywhere from a computer to a chair to a fave jacket! EEEEP!

DIY Ice Cream April Fools Prank

Total Time: 30 Minutes (+ 24-48 Hours Drying Time)

Supplies

Ice Cream Cup or Cone
White School Glue
Sprinkles or Chocolate Chips
Parchment Paper
Craft Paint (Optional)

Directions

If you're using a cup:

1. Put enough glue in the bottom of the cup, just to cover it. Add a small squirt of paint, if you want to change the color (i.e. for mint chocolate chip) and mix.
2. Carefully pour the contents of the cup onto the glossy side of a piece of parchment paper and set the cup in the glue, on one edge.
3. Let sit for a few hours, then add the toppings. Then let dry for 24-48 hours, depending on how much glue you ended up using.
4. Once fully dry, you can carefully peel it off of the parchment paper. HOWEVER! If it is still not fully dry and sticking to the paper by the time you want to use it (usually the top will dry first but underneath takes longer) , you can cut around the spill and leave the parchment attached. You won't even be able to tell!

If you're using a cone:

1. Remove the lid from your glue and pour a small circle onto the glossy side of parchment paper. (If you want to add color, mix glue and color in a plastic cup then pour from there. It will spread and you should end up with a thin round shape. Set the cone in the edge of the glue and drizzle a bit of glue into the inside edge of the cone.
3. Let sit for a few hours, then add the toppings. Then let dry for 24-48 hours, depending on how much glue you ended up using.
4. Once fully dry, you can carefully peel it off of the parchment paper. HOWEVER! Place on something the person your pranking WOULDN'T want ice cream spilled on and.... wait for the reaction!
