It’s time for a fun announcement! You may have seen on Instagram when I did a call for vendors for an exciting Palm Springs event I was working on. Well, it’s time to share a bit more about it! Next month, Brittni of Paper & Stitch, Chelsea of Lovely Indeed and myself will be hosting a blogger retreat in Palm Springs called Meet/Make/Do! We’ve invited a few really awesome bloggers and creatives to join us for a few days of creating, chatting and even a little relaxing! The idea started when Brittni was out in LA visiting, and mentioned how much she’d love to get a small group together to work on projects we may not be able to do all by ourselves. And well, we thought, “Let’s do it!” Let’s Meet/Make/Do it, that is. (Ha! Couldn’t resist.) We were excited to get the fine folks at Bing on board and we’ve been using their tools to help us plan this whole shin-dig, which we’ll share about more after the fact (along with all the fun projects we complete, and great spots we hit throughout the retreat)! It’s quickly approaching and we just can’t wait!

While this event is invite-only, if it’s well received we’re excited to see where it takes us! So stay tuned. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing lots about it on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #meetmakebing. Be sure to follow along there for more! And, because I’m curious, for all you other bloggers reading out there… what would you like to get out of a small retreat like this? Photography and styling help? Organization tips? Would you want to complete a big project on your dream list!? Let me know below, I’d love to hear!

Sounds amazing. I would love Photography, Styling, and how to initiate collaborations with other sites and maybe do a small diy project like the piñata.
Aimee @ Irresistible Pets says
That sounds exciting! Looking forward to seeing how everything turns out.

Sounds like a great plan for a small retreat (and Palm Springs to boot? Awesome). I would love to attend in the future and second the photography and styling tips. However, collaborating on something crafty sounds like a dream. Can’t wait to learn more.

This is so AWESOME! You guys are going to put together a crazy awesome event and I’m totes jealous I won’t be there. But if you do another one open to everyone and I were going, I would want to get out of it everything you just mentioned – photo styling, organization – plus, approaching brands for sponsorship, collaborating with others, things like that. And maybe actually collaborating with each other a the event on a project that would be blog-worthy (like a styled shoot or DIY or something). I think this event sounds awesome and wish you guys the best!!

Such a great idea; wishing you fun and sun and inspiration!
I’d love a blogger retreat in the future. A place to meet other bloggers and learn some photo/crafty skills and possibly collaborate.

so funnnn! man i think i would just like to hang out, cannonball into the swimming pool, develop some fun collaboration ideas with new pals but also do some crafting right then and there – a creative getaway! (and document it all, of course!) looking forward to hearing all about it!! xo

Photography and styling for sure! I see all the same tips out there (fabulous as they are) and sometimes they just don’t apply to me or my products and I would LOVE some one on one help. The second biggest thing I’d like to get out of it is some bloggy friends. All mine are virtual and I would absolutely love to meet all these lovely ladies in person!

FUN! I really want to get out of MN. This would be a much needed Make-cation (ha!). A collaborative, creative, epic, project has my vote. Also, are you still in need of goods for your swag bags?
