While we were in college, Jeff’s parents moved from our hometown in New Jersey to South Florida and for our first married Christmas together we headed to their neck of the woods! We took a day trip to Miami basically for one sole purpose… Wynwood Walls! I’ve seen this mystical, magical place all over Instagram and it was NECESSARY to go. It DID NOT disappoint! Conceived by Tony Goldman, the concept was created to transform Wynwood’s warehouse district and bring more foot traffic to the area… by turning warehouse walls into giant pieces of art! There’s a “park” type area where several of these walls are, but in the surrounding neighborhood there are INFINITELY more walls to see, and some cool shops too! If you’re in the area, you gotta check it out!

I’m wearing: Trina Turk Blouse, J. Crew Factory Winnie Pant (My FAVE pants right now!), Kate Spade Saturday Clogs, Pink Sunglasses
I’d apologize for how many pictures of myself I just posted except I won’t. Because these walls are freaking awesome. If you head to the area, check out Frangipani, a cute little shop next door to the walls. Several people recommended nearby Zak the Baker to us too, but we didn’t make it there. Let me know if you go! This certainly wasn’t my last trip to this dream world. And bonus of my Florida trip? I got to have lunch with Drea and her cutie little lady Marlowe! All around, it was a great trip!
What are your favorite Miami spots so I can hit them next time I’m there!?

Those are great! My favorite is the black and white strip ones. I have been on a little mission to find graffiti walls lately but this would definitely be nice too!

I love that place! looking at your photos gave me a weird sense of deja vue, because I have a bunch of pictures of me standing in front of all of those walls too.
I wish this type of color could find its way into my life more often.

Lifelong Miamian here and I have no idea where that heart wall is but I must find it at once! I need this to be my background for my Valentine’s Day outfit post this year!
