It’s the final countdownnnnn! One week till Christmas!! Yowza. We spent the weekend shopping for the family we’ve adopted for the holiday season, the first of what we hope to be a yearly tradition for our family. Anddddd! We also got our halls decked and ready for our family to come into town this week! Our apartment is small but mighty, but we put together a little holiday home tour over on our YouTube channel if you wanna go check it out right here! It includes a fun way I repurposed a broken heirloom ornament and a reference to one of my all time favorite shows. Can you name it!?
Some details on my ornament wreath… I used Martha Stewart’s tutorial for this, except I hot glued mine instead of pinning them. I bought most of my ornaments on a 50% off sale at our craft store downtown (Moskatels, for those of you who are local) but the dollar stores also have great options if you want an even more budget-friendly variety. Then, I mixed in other textures/shapes like my favorite Land of Nod ones, flamingos from ASOS (sadly, sold out!) and some glass geometric ones I got at Pigment and West Elm (last season). It was super easy but very time consuming!! If you try making one, be sure to tag me so I can see!!
