Well, we have determined that you all LOVE your puns. And we’re keeping our pun game STRONG right on in to Thanksgiving… with pie stencil puns and our trusty Cricut! These guys let you keep it classic with a pumpkin pie, but jazz it up with a little fun. Wouldn’t these be perfect for a Friendsgiving celebration!? And they are SOOOO EASY!
Cricut Explore
Cricut Design Space Software
12”x12” Standard Grip Cricut Mat
12″ x 12″ Cardstock
Powdered Sugar
Sifter
Pie (Of course!)
1. Open up this project in Cricut Design Space. Click the “Make It Now” button. Place your cardstock on the Cricut cutting mat and follow the instructions on the screen to cut it out.
2. Before stenciling, if you are using pumpkin pie for this, be sure to use a paper towel to absorb any excess moisture on top of the pie. This will ensure your powdered sugar stays nice and perfect!
3. Lay the stencil over top the pie. Using a sifter, sift a thick layer of powdered sugar over the stencil. To remove the stencil lift it straight up, do not “peel” it off or the excess sugar will fall into the pie. Done!

Pies are already great. But they’re even better with puns, don’t you agree!?
p.s. The best pie in Los Angeles!
