Today I’ve got a big ol’ gift guide for your friends, partners, siblings and frankly… yourself. Ha! This one is a combination of items I have and love and items on my wishlist, and items my husband loves or wants! (If you’re looking for sentimental or custom gifts, check this post here!)
I decided to break them up by category: gifts to wear, gifts for the home or kitchen and then hobby and self-care themed gifts! And I tried to cover all budgets. Hope you find something you, or someone you know, will love!
Gifts They Can Wear
You’ll notice that 75% of these items are loungewear themed because, well, that’s pretty much been our go-to this year. 😉 But there’s some pretty stunning accessories in here, too!
- Cropped Drawstring Sweater (Honestly I love every piece from the Collab Tonlé and Christopher of Plant Kween did!)
- Hummingbird Earrings
- Rainbow Stripe Top
- Bangle Bracelets
- Colorful Straw Hat
- Waffle Knit Lounge Set (Jeff and I each have one of these and we L-O-V-E them. Like so much that sometimes we do laundry just so that we can wear them again.. haha! That says a lot for two lazy people who hate doing laundry.)
- Clay Earrings (I couldn’t pick just one pair I love, so many beautiful options in both colorful and natural palettes!)
- Terry Joggers (This is one of Jeff’s favorite brands, and I’ve been eyeing one of their matching sets too!)
- Woven Leather Slides (These shoes are so beautiful, and so comfortable. They come in a few different colors!)
- Free & Easy Hat
- Plaid Shirt Dress (Recently discovered this company and I love all of their colorful linen pieces!)
- Save All The Old Houses Tee
- Everything Is Alright Sweatshirt
- Loungewear in Every Color (This loungewear is made with recycled and organic materials, comes in literally every color and the sizing is gender-free!)
- Short Sleeve Sweatshirt
- Soukie Sack (Jeff bought me one of these last year and it’s probably my most worn bag! They are all one of a kind, and made from vintage Moroccan rugs!)
- Allbirds Wool Slip-ons (Jeff’s most worn, coziest shoes!)
- Pro Science Pro Dolly Sweatshirt (Enough said! 😉
Gift Ideas for the Kitchen & Home
Lots of good stuff here including some family favorites, some practical but beautiful items and of course a few stunning pieces of pottery that I just can’t resist.
- Colorful Napkin Set (We have a similar, though not nearly as pretty, set of napkins that we use every day after getting rid of paper towels. These are BEAUTIFUL!!!)
- Linen Sheets (All of our favorite sheets are linen, these come in a zillion colors!)
- Glass Storage Containers (I always get questions about our glass storage containers in our kitchen, which are no longer available. These are quite similar!)
- The Sun Comes Up Art Print
- Colorful Glassware
- Face Cup
- Striped Leather Coasters (Lots of other cute designs, too!)
- Wood Salt & Pepper Grinders
- Velvet Weighted Blanket (My parents got this for Jeff & I last year and we all absolutely love it! You can find additional color options here.)
- “Hands On” Bowl
- Blue Vase
- “Always” Pan (I think every gift guide I’ve seen has this on it, but there’s a reason! It’s such a great multifunctional pan, and comes in the prettiest colors. We use ours at least twice a day.)
- Ceramic Peace Bells (I’ve given sets of ceramic bells as gifts often and they are always a hit. It’s great because it’s really special, but it’s something that can be hung anywhere, in any room or in any little empty wall space in someone’s home!)
- Ceramic Dish (I’m in love with all of Maheswari Janarthanan’s ceramic pieces. Lots of different options in the shop!)
- Fringe Basket (We use baskets so much, I’m always SO pumped if I get one as a gift. It gets put to use immediately! And you can choose to fill it with something homemade as a part of the gift, too!)
Self Care, Hobby & Entertainment Gifts
I feel like all of these fall under “self care” to be honest, depending on how you define it! 😉 Here’s a collection of some favorite skin care products, games, books and other items to support creative hobbies!
- Ceramic Paint Palette (I’ve included this in several other gift guides but I just can’t leave it out. It is so beautiful and just the perfect gift for any artist!)
- Bibliostyle (This book is all about living with books and looks INCREDIBLE! What a great gift for anyone who has an ever growing library.)
- Osea Cleanser (Jeff and I both use and love this cleanser!)
- Codenames (We LOVE playing this game with friends. Highly, highly recommend!)
- Yarn Bowl
- Leather Laptop Case (Comes in both natural and vibrant colors!)
- Houseplants for All by Danae Horst (Danae has the most beautiful plant shop here in LA, and recently wrote this book! Great for any plant lover.)
- Port Products Face Scrub (Another Jeff skincare favorite!)
- Designing History by Michael S Smith (A book all about decorating the Obama White House!!! This one’s on my Christmas list.)
- A Promised Land by Barack Obama (Speaking of the Obamas…!)
- Massage Gun (Jeff got this as a gift and swears by it!)
- A Very Punchable Face by Colin Jost (For any SNL fans out there like my husband!)
- Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (My go-to moisturizer!)
- 100 Questions (This would be really fun for conversation starters for Zoom hangouts with friends!)
- Sweet Laurel Cookbook by Laurel Gallucci and Claire Thomas (We absolutely adore this cookbook, and it is completely dairy, refined-sugar and grain free. The brownies are our favorite brownies we’ve EVER had. And I’m obsessed with the carrot cake and cashew cream cheese frosting, too.)
